1. What This Extension Does

Stream Fireworks is a Twitch panel extension that lets viewers donate Bits to load fireworks onto a shared launchpad. When the streamer launches the show, all queued fireworks fire in a choreographed display visible through an OBS browser source overlay.

2. Data We Collect

We collect the minimum data needed to operate the extension:

• Twitch Display Name — shown alongside your firework in the queue and during the show so viewers can see who contributed.
• Bits Transaction Receipt — the Twitch-issued transaction ID and Bits amount, used to verify purchases and queue the correct firework tier.

We do not collect your email address, IP address, location, Twitch User ID, or any information beyond what is listed above.

3. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to:

• Display your name on the firework queue and during the firework show.
• Verify your Bits transaction and queue the correct firework tier.
• Show contribution totals in the post-show recap.

4. Data Storage & Retention

All data is stored per-session only in memory within a Cloudflare Durable Object. When the streamer ends a show cycle or the session expires, all viewer data (names, transactions, queue) is cleared. There is no persistent database — nothing is stored long-term.

5. Authentication

We verify requests using JSON Web Tokens (JWT) provided by Twitch. These tokens are checked on each request but are not stored by our service.

6. Cookies & Local Storage

This extension does not use cookies, local storage, or any browser-based tracking mechanisms.

7. Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to any third parties. Your data is only used within the extension itself.

8. Data Security

All communication between the extension and our backend is encrypted over HTTPS. Our backend runs on Cloudflare Workers with JWT verification on every request.

9. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

This extension is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because the extension operates within Twitch, users are subject to Twitch's own Terms of Service, which require users to be at least 13 years old.

10. Your Rights

You can stop participating at any time by simply not purchasing fireworks. All session data is automatically cleared when the show cycle ends — no action is needed to delete your data.

11. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
